Beartooth Highway #212 Clean Up

Join us along America's most scenic highway for our annual Adopt-a-Highway clean up along the iconic Beartooth Highway #212 above Red Lodge MT. ABWF will provide all the supplies and direction needed or a fun and safe day keeping our public lands beautiful for all! Come prepared for mountain weather. Starting at the state line at 10,000 feet, volunteers will walk downhill for 2 miles with bending and picking up trash along Mile Markers 45 and 46. We will meet in Red Lodge at the First Interstate Bank (602 Broadway Ave N) at 1:00pm and organize car pools to the “top of the world” from there. We will be back in Red Lodge before 5:00pm

Come with weather appropriate clothing for mid-September at 10,000 feet inMontana - anything from sun, rain, wind, cold or heat. Small daypack recommended. A full water bottle. Sturdy shoes. Sunglasses & sunscreen. Bear spray NOT needed. We will provide garbage bags, safety vests, gloves (bring your favorite if you have them), snacks and drinks.
