Our People

Behind every great organization is a bunch of real-life humans who care a whole awful lot. Meet the staff, interns, board members, and advisors who make up our small but mighty team of wilderness stewards.

Staff

Our year-round and seasonal staff members are at the heart of ABWF’s day-to-day operations. From admin to education to stewardship to field work, our small but mighty team works to advance ABWF’s mission and steward the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness for generations to come.

Board of Directors

ABWF’s Board of Directors is a group of dedicated wilderness lovers who bring a wide variety of experiences and perspectives to ABWF’s continued governance and ongoing performance.

Seasonal Interns

Each summer, ABWF partners with the Montana Conservation Corps to hire a handful of seasonal trail interns and place them within Forest Service trail crews for the season. These interns add much-needed capacity to trail crews while gaining valuable hands-on experience in traditional stewardship methods.

Advisory Board

ABWF’s advisory board provides ongoing wisdom and leadership that ensures we’re staying focused on our mission and utilizing the hard-earned knowledge of our most seasoned community members in service of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness.
